Hull PorchFest was inspired by the many successful music festivals staged in MA communities (and beyond) to bring citizens together in a new and fun way. Local bands and performers play free sets on porches, driveways, front yards and on other unique performance sites around town.

  • Hull PorchFest 2023 is a RAIN or SHINE event.  Unless rain and/or winds present a clear threat to public safety, the event will go on.  If for any reason it is cancelled it will not be rescheduled.
  • Hull Porchfest 2023 is a pedestrian-protected event.  Police barriers manned by HPD details will be setting up limiting access to local residents only during the hours of noon – to 6:00 pm on the day of the event.
  • Traffic will be routed around Massasoit, Samoset and Manomet Avenues between Kenberma and Revere Streets, which themselves will be barricaded between Nantasket Avenue and Beach Ave.
  • Attendees are advised that street parking in the Kenberma area is limited to residents with a valid restricted sticker issued from Hull PD and/or their guests.  All others risk being ticketed by Hull PD.  Attendees parking in restricted areas without a valid Town of Hull sticker risk a an initial $100 fine and another $100 fine after 4 hours if the vehicle has not been moved.
  • Public parking will be available at two locations:
    • The Hull Redevelopment Authority (HRA) lot, normally used for beach public in summer months, at the north end of the open space bordered to the north by Phipps Street.  HRA reserves the right to charge for parking on the day of the event if it coincides with a desirable beach day.  However, any vehicle with a valid Town of Hall sticker will be admitted to the lot at no charge.  Parking in this lot is limited and is first come, first served.
    • Limited parking is available at the private lot owned by Richardson Insurance and located near the southwest corner of Nantasket Avenue and Kenberma Street.  The entrance from Nantasket Ave is blocked.  Only the entrance/exit from Kingsley Avenue will be accessible.  Parking privileges have been extended under special arrangement with Richardson Insurance. Parking in this lot is limited and is first come, first served.
  • Public toilets will be available at the municipal lot located at the southeast corner of Nantasket Avenue and Kenberma Street and at the railroad bed area located near the corner of Revere Street and Samoset Avenue.  A disabled-accessible toilet will be available at the municipal lot at Nantasket Ave @ Kenberma Street. Attendees are strongly encouraged NOT to request the use of bathrooms in private homes in the Kenberma neighborhood.
  • As Hull PorchFest 2023 takes place on public space, all local ordinances related to consuming of alcoholic beverages or any illegal substance will be in force and will be enforced by Hull PD.    As well, attendees are forbidden from consuming alcoholic beverages by Hull PorchFest Inc. independent of town ordinances.
  • Local property owners are limited to serving alcoholic beverages or any illegal substances ONLY to their guests and those beverages must be consumed only on private property.
