Based in Hull, MA, USA, The WSU (Whoever Shows Up) Bluegrass Band is a group of friends/musicians that gather to jam weekly. The jam format means that, from week to week, the number of participants can vary. Hence, the name “Whoever Shows Up”.
Part of the fun of a jam is you never knowing what the set list will be nor what order the songs will be played. Players take turns leading songs that vary from old traditional country to folk to classic rock tunes, etc. But bluegrass is at the heart of every jam.
